A National Movement · Holi 2027
Give a fistful of gulal. We carry it to India's borders and play Holi with our soldiers — Holi Ke Rang, Jawanon Ke Sang.
A Citizens' Initiative · Holi Monday, 22 March 2027
Ek Mutthi Gulal is a citizens' initiative based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Every citizen is invited to give a fistful (ek mutthi) of gulal. The gulal is collected across India, carried by a branded cavalcade to our borders, and applied on soldiers' foreheads on Holi — planned for 22 March 2027. It is not an official programme of the Indian Armed Forces or the Government of India.
Targets and plans for the campaign; figures will be updated as the journey progresses.
Har Haath Se
Four hands, four blessings — all of them travelling to the same border.
From every mother’s hand, like a blessing…
From every brother’s hand, like courage…
From every child’s hand, like a safe shade…
From every grandfather’s hand, like a prayer…
